Jay Boose was raised in Ontario, Canada. He was an animator for Disney and Pixar for many years before shifting to storyboarding for Blue Sky Studios. He supervised animation on the award winning The Little Prince and went on to direct animation for an assortment of other films. After 20 years in animation he realised that comics were his first love – better late than never. He now lives in South West England creating stories with pictures and word balloons. THE CHEMIST is his debut graphic novel.
